Winter has come with a hello and a goodbye.

On scales both big and small, it has been a strange year for Santa Barbara County and the effects felt in the Santa Ynez Valley make us especially appreciative of your support.

Marked by continued drought, epic heat and still reeling from last years fires and mudslides, every visitor to our participating wineries is a VIP. We truly do thank you whether you buy our Summer or Winter Pass for yourself or as a gift (and they do make such a great gift) or are one of the attendees at our SYWCA annual events.

For our own group of wineries, change has also happened, with our amazing Cheryl Stauffer leaving to enjoy more time with her family and welcoming wine industry professional Maeapple Chaney as our new Executive Director. Cheryl has been an integral part in helping us to grow and connect with all of you. We wish her all the best. We look forward to introducing you to Maeapple and continuing to provide you with great value and terrific service while explore the wonderful wines of Santa Ynez Valley.
