Tierra y Vino’s story is truly one of labor and love.

 

Owners and partners in life, Andres Ibarra
and Caren Rideau founded their business in 2012.  They have taken small steps in their development leading up to the opening of their tasting room in Buellton.

This has been a dream for the both of them.

 

Andres has been a winemaker in the Santa Ynez Valley since 1985. He and Caren are now making their own varietals from the La Presa Vineyard in Solvang , California.

 

Andres planted the vineyard in the late 1980's and has managed it ever since.  This power couple specialize in Albariño, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Red Rhone Varietals.  Andres is also known for his Petite Sirah which repeatedly receives many accolades and high points with Wine Enthusiast and International Wine Competitions.

 

When visiting the tasting room, you will often see Andres

or Caren pouring their award winning wines at the bar.
